Almost done with this one… First time using vray to C4D! I´d like to thank Raphael Rau (http://www.silverwing-vfx.de/) for sending me the material preview that works correctly with vray inside c4d.

Translate the 2d concept to 3d is always a challenge. Back in Design College I had a teacher who always said: “the paper can take everything”, and that is so true! Not everything that works in 2d will work in 3d. It’s our job, as 3d modelers to adapt and do our best to bring the 2d concept to a fully functional 3d character.
For the Construaqui, a new supplier of tools and construction material, mascot I received this concept design from client:
And this is the 3d concept I came up to:
Liquid sculpt and look development for the Angeloni’s Beleza ad.
Got inspired by the first part of this work and created an xpresso tool for that kind of effect and animation. Will release it soon.

I modeled this phone for a job and decided to try some Gulf Racing colors in it. I really love how this colors match together!
